Wild Lights Dogs After Dark - Rules & FAQs

To ensure a safe and fun night for all guests, both two-legged and four-legged, please review the following rules before you arrive.

Types of Dogs Not Permitted
For the safety of all, we cannot allow entry to the following dogs:

For Your Dog
Proof of Health — For the safety of all animals, your dog must be up-to-date on the following:

Proper Gear:

A well-fitting collar must be worn at all times. Electric collars are not permitted.
Dogs must remain leashed at all times, even while riding in a carrier or stroller.
Leashes must be non-retractable and no more than 6 feet long.

For You (the Adult)

One dog per person: You may only bring and manage one dog at a time.
All dogs must be accompanied by a Pet Parent at least 18 years old.
Dogs are not permitted in indoor animal areas or restaurants.
Pet Parents are required to clean up after their dogs.
Adults must direct dogs to utilize designated relief areas to the best of their ability.

Is there a waiver I need to sign?

No. By purchasing a dog ticket, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and regulations.
What should I do if my dog needs a bathroom break?

Please come prepared to clean up after your dog. Waste bags will be available at designated relief areas throughout the Zoo.
What if my dog barks?

For the safety and comfort of our animals and guests, dogs that display excessive barking will be asked to leave without a refund.
What if my dog is uncomfortable around people or other dogs?

Dogs After Dark is a high-traffic, social event. If your dog is not well-socialized or shows signs of stress, it’s best to leave them at home for their comfort and the comfort of our guests.
Can I still come if I don’t have a dog?

Yes! All humans and dog lovers are welcome, with or without a dog!
