Closures Due to Air Quality Issues

Due to poor outdoor air quality, the following are closed or not operating on Wednesday, June 28:

• Kohl’s Wild Theater
• Gorillas and bonobos will not be in their outdoor habitat but can be seen inside the Stearns Family Apes of Africa building.
• Siamangs and orangutans will not be in their outdoor habitat but can be seen inside the Primates of the World building.
• The jaguar will not be in his outdoor habitat but can be seen inside the Florence Mila Borchert Big Cat Country building.

In addition, Zoo Expeditions sponsored by Meijer is closed due to scheduling conflicts. This attraction will resume operation Thursday, June 29.
