Animals are the stars as visitors stroll through five continental groupings of residents including scales and tails, feathered friends, and magnificent mammals – just to mention a few. All animal buildings are open; closing one hour before the festival ends each night.

Trek to Dino Don’s Journey to the Ice Age, sponsored by Sendik’s Food Market — a forested expanse behind the Small Mammals building — to encounter striking recreations of now-extinct animals that lived during the Ice Age periods. See how these mighty creatures lived side-by-side with humans and build empathy for wildlife affected by environmental changes across the globe.

    Travel to the rainforests of Rwanda to meet mountain gorillas up close! Gorilla Trek, conveniently located on the Macaque Island deck, offers guests a fully immersive, 360-degree virtual reality experience. Join this unique adventure you won’t soon forget.

  • Giraffe Experience presented by Miller Lite

    Meet these gentle giants – eye to eye! Participate in feedings daily 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Opportunities are subject to the giraffes’ appetites, weather and special event circumstances. Visit the ticket booth near the Giraffe Deck for further details.
