Rules & Regulations

• Driver must be at least 16 years of age.
• Multiple riders allowed – following rider guidelines of one adult (16 or older) and one child (under 16) over 24 inches in height OR two adults (16 or older).
• Combined rider weight is not to exceed 450 pounds.
• ScooterPals are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Rental fee includes a $5 ride activation to start the ride, then $0.35 per minute until the ride is ended and returned.
• A $30 temporary credit pre-authorization will be placed on the card used for the rental. The temporary hold is the amount we authorize to ensure there are funds available to complete your purchase.
• For the safety of Zoo guests and animals, ScooterPals are for use throughout the Zoo, excluding Stearns Family Apes of Africa and Primates of the World. Building entrances and exits are not to be obstructed by ScooterPals when not in use.
• Any drivers or riders in violation of the rules and regulations will have their ScooterPal turned off. No refunds.
