Where can I find discounted Zoo admission tickets?
Following are ways to enjoy the Zoo at a discounted rate:
Buy your tickets online and save! Save $3 per ticket for general admission when you purchase online (does not apply to Discounted Wednesdays for County Residents and may not apply for Special Events).
Family Free Days: Each year, the Zoo offers six Family Free Days, when all guests receive free admission to the Zoo. Parking and regular attraction fees still apply. The Family Free Days for 2026 are January 3, February 7, March 7, October 3, November 7, and December 5.
Discounted Sundays: Three times per year, Milwaukee County residents receive the reduced County admission rate on select Sundays: $12 for adults and $9.50 for children (age 3 to 12). The Discounted Sundays for 2026 are April 12, May 3, and September 20.
Discounted Wednesdays for County Residents: Milwaukee County residents receive reduced admission prices every Wednesday, year-round: $12 for adults and $9.50 for children (age 3 to 12).
Special Event Days: The Zoo also periodically offers discounted or free admission on select Special Event days, including Father’s Day, $4 on the 4th, and more.
Celebrate 414 Day! Join us on Tuesday, April 14, when all Milwaukee County residents receive reduced admission of $4.14 for adults/children online and at the admission gate (parking and regular attraction fees still apply).
Group Rates: Discounted ticket pricing is available for groups of 15 or more. Click here for more info.
Park and Recreation Offices: Many area park and recreation offices offer discounted Zoo tickets. Check your local municipality to ask if your city participates.
Frosty Free Week: It’s the season of giving, and the Zoo offers a week of free daytime admission — December 26-30, 2026 — to thank guests for their support.
