Diversity is nature’s greatest strength. It should be ours too. This unique event highlights nature’s diversity and focuses on increasing our connection to both nature and community. The fun includes exploring a section of the Zoo’s forest and browsing a sustainability market!

Enjoy activities from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The Zoo welcomes Three Harbors Council of the Boy Scouts of America as they settle in on the grounds to camp Friday and Saturday nights. Special hand-created displays are presented throughout the Zoo, to showcase scouting skills and conservation activities.

For three nights, the Zoological Society is celebrating its Zoo Pass and Platypus Circle members! Featuring live entertainment, tasty offerings from local food trucks, and some of your favorite animals, this is the perfect event for Society members to kick off a summer of fun.

We’re celebrating seniors with FREE admission on this select day for guests 60 and older. Enjoy fresh air and exercise as you explore the Zoo, connect with wildlife, and meet the animals! Special activities and experiences are offered, designed for the young at heart.

Looking for a way to celebrate the dad in your life? Bring them to the Zoo for Father’s Day — all dads receive free admission! (Parking and regular attraction fees still apply.) Visit some of the Zoo’s animal dads, too, like Bactrian camel Stan, De Brazza’s monkey Hugo, and all your other favorites.

Back again for its 43rd year is Zoo Ball — the Zoological Society’s largest fundraising event of the year! Zoo Ball is the premier formal event hosted by the Society, featuring a silent auction, fine dining, cocktails, live music, and dancing.

There’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day than at the Zoo! Admission is just $4 for all guests on the 4th of July! (Parking and regular attraction fees still apply.) Show your patriotic side and visit our RED pandas, the eastern black and WHITE colobus monkeys, and our Grand Cayman BLUE iguana!

To thank military members and their families for their service and sacrifice, we’re proud to host this annual event. All military service members, veterans, and their families can enjoy free admission and parking on July 5. Advance tickets are required through local County Veterans Service Offices (CVSO), for immediate family, and limited to 10 tickets per family. Advance tickets will be available May 26 through July 2, while supplies last.
