Safari Train
sponsored by North Shore Bank

The Safari Train Station is the visitor boarding area for a scenic 7-minute miniature train trip through the woods and meadows of the Zoo. The trip goes around Lake Evinrude, where a quick eye may catch a glimpse of a red fox, or white tail deer, or one of many other truly wild animals that inhabit our Zoo grounds. It then proceeds past the North American Area, the Brown Bears, Dall Sheep Mountain, Northwestern Mutual Family Farm, then back to the station to detrain.

Hop aboard our legendary Zoofari Express, featuring both steam and diesel locomotives.
