The Zoo becomes a perfect backdrop during these Wednesday evenings for wild animals and popular bands to take the spotlight with Sunset Zoofari concerts, sponsored by Tri City National Bank: June 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, and August 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
While enjoying Sunset Zoofari evenings, we welcome visitors into all of our animal buildings (Aviary closes at dusk).
The 2010 Sunset Zoofari Concerts Schedule:
June 30 – “Hat Trick”
Take a trip back in time to enjoy classics like Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison and The Beatles.
July 7 – “Pinstripe”
Enjoy Wisconsin’s newest addition to the music scene as this power trio features longtime members of Milwaukee party band leader, “The Toys.”
July 14 – “5 Card Studs”
Enjoy “Vegas Meets The American Band” as chart hits of the 60s and 70s are highlighted.
July 21 – “LoveMonkeys”
Performing a vast array of Pop, Rock and Reggae, this Milwaukee favorite loves to be on stage – and it shows!
July 28 – “Heat”
Top Forty, Rock, Classical Rock, R&B and Disco are just some of the genres visitors will enjoy when hearing this band’s diverse sounds.
August 4 – “Dirty Boogie”
You’ll hear everything from Pop to Rock, as this band features hits from the likes of the BoDeans, Kings of Leon and Black Eyed Peas.

Venture into our outdoor prehistoric park to encounter the charismatic creatures that roamed the Earth hundreds of millions of years ago – dinosaurs! Returning crowd favorites include: the mighty T. rex, with its child and nest of babies and the alligator-jawed Baryonyx.
New inhabitants moving and rumbling in their tropical land: the Edmontosaurus, at 17 feet 8 inches long, will be the largest Canadian to enter the Zoo, and the Styracosaurus, which used the spiked crest on its head against predators.
