This weekend is devoted to the rich farming heritage of our state. The cornucopia of activity includes a children’s tractor-pull contest, cooking demonstrations and down-home entertainment.
Join us on this special day drawing attention to our magnificent elephants, Brittany and Ruth. A trunk-full of activities will be offered including colorful crafts, behind-the-scenes tours of the Elephant Barns and elephant talks and presentations. The day's offerings take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wolves have always been shrouded in mystery. Today, you’ll come to a better understanding of these precious animals, and the role they play in our natural world. See the pack take their daily feeding, see the enrichment items that keep them active and join in our howling contest.
The Zoo is the place to trick-or-treat among the animals! Halloween fun includes a costume parade, musical illumination show and bat presentations in the Small Mammal Building.
It’s the most wonderful time of year when Santa shares a meal with kids! Enjoy breakfast or lunch, musical fun and a special holiday gift. Lunch served both days; breakfast Saturdays only.
